Smooth 4 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer

This stabilizer is designed to let you easily control everything via the control panel on the handle. The control wheel lets you perform completely comfortable manipulation without needing to use the smartphone's touchscreen. You can zoom in and out for precise moment capture.

The stabilizer can work up to 12 hours on a single charge. There's an indicator on the handle showing battery status. This stabilizer also lets you charge your phone while filming, preventing your smartphone from running out of battery before you finish shooting. The Smooth 4 is compatible with all phones on the market, regardless of their dimensions.

Charging Instructions

The Smooth 4 contains a built-in lithium-ion battery. The first time you use the Smooth 4, you must fully charge it to activate the battery.

Charging Method
Using the included Type-C cable, connect the stabilizer to a charger. Insert the Type-C end into the Type-C slot located on the stabilizer's handle, and insert the USB end into the charger.

Tripod Installation
Remove the tripod from the packaging. Insert the tripod's threaded mount into the threaded hole on the bottom of the stabilizer and tighten.
Then unfold the tripod and place it on a flat surface.

Phone Installation
Open the phone-holder clamp and slide the phone in as close as possible to the axis motor (so it rests against the base). Once the phone is secured, you can turn on the stabilizer.

The mobile phone can also be positioned vertically. Loosen the screw on the back of the phone holder, rotate the holder, and tighten the screw. Full stabilization occurs in both settings.

Please don't turn on the Smooth 4 before inserting the phone into it.

Balancing
If the phone doesn't stay level after being inserted into the holder and tilts to one side, you'll need to loosen the screw (thread) on the holder's sliding arm and move the main holder to the center so the mobile phone doesn't tilt to either side and holds its position. Then tighten the screw back.

Proper phone balancing ensures greater energy savings during operation. The stabilizer can work well even if not balanced, but improper balancing can lead to greater energy consumption and can significantly affect the motors' torque output. 

Charging Your Phone
If you want to charge your phone via the stabilizer, you should use a cable with one end Micro USB and the other end compatible with your phone. Connect the stabilizer and phone, and the stabilizer will start charging the phone. Only the Micro USB output is for charging your phone. Use the Type-C input only to charge the stabilizer itself.

App
An app can be downloaded for the stabilizer. It's available for Android and iOS.
Each time you open the app, you'll need to pair it with the Smooth 4.
