Detailed information about 3 ATM water resistance

The watch has a water resistance rating of 3 ATM, which means it is resistant to everyday contact with water, such as rain, sweat or accidental splashes. The watch is not intended for diving, swimming, bathing, use in a sauna or prolonged immersion in water. Wearing the watch in the shower is not recommended, as hot water, steam and temperature changes may negatively affect the seals and allow moisture to enter the device.

The 3 ATM rating is based on a pressure test performed under specified conditions and does not mean that the watch can be used at a depth of 30 metres. If you are looking for a watch suitable for swimming or other water activities, choose a model with an appropriately higher water resistance rating.

Important warnings:

• Avoid contact with soapy water, salt water, water containing shampoo, conditioner or similar substances. These substances may negatively affect the seals and other parts of the watch.
• A watch with a 3 ATM water resistance rating should not be worn while showering, bathing or using a sauna.
• A watch with a 3 ATM water resistance rating is not suitable for swimming. Movement in water, jumping into water or exposure to a strong stream of water may temporarily create higher pressure than the watch is designed to withstand.
• If the watch is wet or in contact with water, do not rotate the crown (the rotating button on the side) or press any buttons.

Examples of situations in which the watch can withstand contact with water:

• Accidental splashes of water

After contact with water, the watch must be thoroughly dried.

Additional important information:

Please also keep in mind that water resistance is not a permanent characteristic and may decrease over time and with use. Wear of the watch case, mechanical damage or microscopic cracks in the seals may allow water to enter the device and cause damage.

What to do after contact with chemicals:

If the watch comes into contact with soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, perfumes, solvents, detergents, acids, acidic foods, insect repellents, sunscreen, oil, hair dye or other chemicals, clean the surface of the watch with a soft cloth slightly dampened with clean water and then dry the watch thoroughly. These substances may damage the seals, surface finish and other parts of the watch.
